What's a wish?
Isn't it just another way
Of saying
"This is how it'd be
if I had things my way"?

Well, if I had it my way
I'd make it so that
We would share
Moment after
Moment each and
Every single day

I'd make it so the stars
Would shine bright
Every night
As we'd stroll,
Hold hands and then
Later lose control

I'd make it so your phone
Vibrates with a text
Saying "I'm thinking
Of u, looking 4ward 2
2nite" and not just meaning
Looking forward to sex

I'd make it so that tulips
Would always be in bloom
Even in the wintertime
And that you'd have a
Fresh vase from me
Everyday right outside your room

This is all wishful thinking
That much is true
But I do it anyways
Because it means
That I would get
To think about you
